Urinetown: The Musical is a satirical comedy musical that premiered in 2001. It satirizes the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibliity, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement and municipal politics.
"Urinetown will make audiences laugh and sing but it also explores real social issues. It will challenge the audience and, more importantly, the performers to think- Am I willing to do what is right? - For these reasons we think it is the right show to do our first year," says Susan Wright, President of the Mighty Quinn Foundation as they are now the umbrella of In The Spotlight.
