The Nutcracker with Hartford Symphony Orchestra at The Bushnell, Belding Theater, Hartford

Connecticut Ballet presents its beloved annual holiday tradition The Nutcracker, the longest-running and largest professional Nutcracker in Connecticut, now in its 42nd year. Nationally-renowned guest artists from companies such as New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre dance Brett Raphael's original choreography as the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. Hartford Symphony Orchestra, under Assistant Conductor Adam Kerry Boyles, returns to provide live musical accompaniment with a 57-piece ensemble after a sell-out success last year. Performances are followed by meet and greets with guest artists and company members, plus a Nutcracker Boutique in the lobby.
