This 50th Anniversary production of Annie marks a return to the site of the musical's world premiere in 1976. Renowned animal trainer William Berloni, who found and trained the original Sandy for Goodspeed's premiere production, is returning to train the next canine star. A national Search for Sandy has been launched to find a shelter dog to play Annie's beloved sidekick, with the selected dog to be adopted by Berloni and live at his Connecticut home.
