YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NIGHT OUT At Playhouse on Park Set For 7/20!

With TGIF around the corner, head over to Playhouse on Park for a mingle or two! The Playhouse is offering a special Young Professionals rate for The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) on Thursday, July 20. A pre-show networking reception will be held from 6:00-7:15pm, and the show begins at 7:30pm. The ticket price Young Professionals (ages 21-35) is just $20! Relax with some snacks and unwind with a glass of rose or cabernet - all complimentary, of course. After a bit of networking, kick back and enjoy the show: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) features all 37 of Shakespeare's plays, performed in 97 minutes, by three actors.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary two of its original writer/performers thoroughly revised the show to bring it up to date for 21st-century audiences. Fast paced, witty, and physical, it's full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike. The purpose of the Young Professional Advisory Board is to provide increased representation of young professionals in the Greater Hartford arts community. YPAB members participate in initiatives unique to the group, Board of Directors sub-committees, as well as attend productions and events.

The YPAB shared priority is to support the overall mission of the Playhouse by acting as ambassadors for the Playhouse in the Greater Hartford community. Members of YPAB have the opportunity to enrich the emerging Park Road and West Hartford arts communities while enhancing their own resumes, developing fundraising skills, and building their professional networks.
