Windham Theatre Guild to Stage GOD OF CARNAGE, Begin. 3/6
The Windham Theatre Guild presents a wonderful contemporary drama as a SecondStage event...God of Carnage, winner of many prestigious awards, opening March 6th at the Burton Leavitt Theatre.
Following a playground fight between two boys, their parents meet to discuss the incident. But a rational discussion among adults quickly devolves into a childish evening of name-calling, tears and tantrums. Winner of the 2009 Tony award for Best Play, and adapted into a movie in 2011, God of Carnage is a bitterly comic, powerhouse piece of theatre and a must see. With only four performances, reserve your tickets now!
Director, Laura LaCour and four very talented actors bring this award winning play to life. Shows run March 6 at 7:30 pm, March 7 & 8 at 8 pm and March 9 at 2 pm at the Burton Leavitt Theatre, 779 Main Street, Willimantic. There will be a talk back after each performance which will allow you to interact with the director and actors.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, and $12 for UConn/ECSU/ QVCC students with ID. Anyone who buys a ticket at the door on Thursday, March 6th will pay the kid's price of just $11. This special offer does NOT apply to tickets reserved in advance. This show contains strong language and is not appropriate for children.
Make your reservations today by calling 423-2245 or visiting windhamtheatreguild.com. Tickets are also available at the door.
