Westport Country Playhouse Launches New Happy Hour Series

Westport Country Playhouse will present Playhouse Happy Hour on the third Thursday during the run of each play in the 2016 Season. Local bands will perform at each Happy Hour during the new "Rock the Playhouse" series. Westport band "Anda One" will kick off the series on Thursday, May 19, with more bands to be announced soon.

Specifically geared for patrons 40 and under, Playhouse Happy Hours are set for Thursdays, May 19, June 30, August 4, September 8, and October 20, beginning at 6:45 p.m., followed by an 8 p.m. performance. In addition, a talkback with the play's actors/artists will follow.

Playhouse Happy Hour will feature beer provided by sponsors Two Roads Brewing Company and Charter Oak Brewing Company. Signature foods will be served by sponsor The Spread.

Playhouse Happy Hour series is presented with support from the Burry Fredrik Foundation.

Tickets for the Playhouse Happy Hour, which include all drinks, food, music, and the play, are $25.
