The Warner Theatre is celebrating October and Halloween with a line-up of campy musical theatre, cult classic film and the CT screening of a new horror film.

The Warner Stage Company will open its 2013-2014 Season on September 28-Oct 6 with Evil Dead, the Musical.It's campy, it's bloody and it's the only musical with a "Splatter Zone". The songs are hilarious and the show is bursting with more farce than a Monty Python skit. Tickets $26

On October 11, the Warner will be the only CT theatre to screen the new NBC Universal-Chiller Film's newest horror movie,The Monkey's Paw, starring Stephen Lang (Avatar), Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) and Charles S. Dutton. After Jake Tilton acquires a mystical "monkey's paw" talisman that grants its possessor three wishes, he finds his world turned upside down after his first two wishes result in his malevolent coworker, Tony Cobb, being resurrected from the dead. Tickets $6

To celebrate 40 years of The Rocky Horror Show, the Warner will be hosting two 11pm screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on October 18 & 19. This musical comedy horror adaptation of the stage play gained notoriety as a late night movie in the 1970s when audiences began participating with the film in theatres. Don't miss the chance to see it again on the big screen! Tickets $10 includes participation bag, no other props will be allowed into the theatre.
