The Wall Street Theater announces multi-award winning, multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter, actress, Macy Gray will perform on its historic stage on Wednesday, May 24th, as part of her world-wide tour, Stripped.

With her critically acclaimed debut album in 2000 'On How Life Is' and her hit single 'I Try', she quickly became a global superstar, trans-sending music genres. With a career that includes multiple Grammy, Billboard, MTV and BRIT Awards, and record sales of over 25 million worldwide, Macy Gray's talent has allowed her connect and gain fans world-wide.

Artistic Director, Billy Blanks, Jr. shared, "we are honored to have the one of a kind, incomparable talent of Macy Gray grace Norwalk's Walk Street Theater!" Fans can look forward to hearing songs from throughout her career in the acoustically un-paralleled and intimate 700 seat theater, including her eighth studio album, 'The Way', which was released on October 7th, 2014.

Tickets are on sale now for the May 24th show and can be purchased at http://www.wallstreettheater.ticketfly.com. Doors open at 7p.m. with a show time of 8p.m. Ticket prices range from $30-$100.

About the Wall Street TheaterThe Wall Street Theater (WST) is the first next generation performance space in Connecticut to provide theater enthusiasts live shows, interactive entertainment, digital productions, art space, state-of-the-art digital streaming technology, and a community arena in which to play. Refurbishment of this national historic landmark at 71 Wall Street in Norwalk, most recently the Globe Theater, is an integral part of the greater redevelopment of the Wall Street area.
