Tina Packer, Paul Schoeffler and Suzanne Kachmar are the featured guests on this week's (March 25) State of the ARTS, heard LIVEevery Friday from 12noon to 1pm on WPKN-FM (89.5) in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Co-hosts of the weekly arts & entertainment show are Richard Pheneger and Peggy Nelson.

Tina Packer, a master Shakespearean actor/director, takes the stage for Women of Will, featuring scenes, insights and discussions as she deconstructs and conjures William Shakespeare's most famous female characters. This special presentation on Sunday, April 3, at 4pm serves as a benefit in support of New Haven's Elm Shakespeare Company's 2016 season.

Paul Schoeffler 'dreams the impossible dream' as Miguel de Cervantes who tells the magical tale of the greatest knight of all in Man of La Mancha playing now through May 1 (2016) at the Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford, New York.

The indefatigable Suzanne Kachmar, Executive/Program Director of the City Lights Gallery, which focuses on established and emerging Fairfield County and Connecticut artists, discusses the current and upcoming exhibits at the gallery's new location, 855 Main Street in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut

State of the ARTS, featuring arts and entertainment personalities, airs LIVE each Friday from 12noon-1pm on WPKN-FM (located at 89.5) and streams worldwide online at wpkn.org.
