Before the Thursday, Dec. 8 and Friday, Dec. 9 evening performances, and after the Sunday, Dec. 11 matinee performance, patrons are invited to join Verbena Catering for a four-course pre-fixe dinner in the theater's Poli Club. Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots takes audiences from a gentlemen's shoe factory in Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Featuring the Tony-Award winning "Best Score" by Cyndi Lauper, the show follows Charlie Price as he struggles to live up to his father's expectations and continue the family business of Price & Son. With the factory's future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.
Kinky Boots has won every major "Best Musical Award" and is represented around the world with the Tony Award-winning Broadway company, a North American First National Tour that launched in September 2014, and a London production that opened in September 2015. Upcoming productions include a Japanese production opening in July 2016 and a Melbourne production opening in October 2016. Previous productions include extended runs in Toronto and Korea, where a return engagement is planned for 2016.
