Tickets Now On Sale for David Sedaris At The Bushnell 4/18/12

By:

Tickets are now on sale for one of today's most compelling humor writers, David Sedaris, coming to The Bushnell's Mortensen Hall on April 18, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Critics applaud Sedaris' sense of humor, much of which is autobiographical and often concerns his family life, his middle class upbringing in the suburbs of Raleigh, North Carolina, Greek heritage, various jobs, education, etc.

Tickets for David Sedaris are on sale now and can be purchased only by visiting The Bushnell Box Office at 166 Capitol Avenue in Hartford or by calling (860) 987-5900. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.bushnell.org. Ticket prices start at $18.00. Ticket prices do not include all applicable fees.

David Sedaris, NPR humorist and best-selling author, has become one of America's pre-eminent humor writers through his use of sardonic wit and incisive social critiques. The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today. Sedaris has contributed to PRI/Chicago Public Radio radio show This American Life, published essays in Esquire and The New Yorker and his best-sellers include Me Talk Pretty One Day and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim.
