The Warner Theatre Screens The Met: Live in HD’s Manon, 4/7

On Saturday, April 7, at 12 pm, The Met: Live in HD series continues at the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre with a live simulcast of Massenet's Manon.
Anna Netrebko's dazzling portrayal of the tragic heroine in Laurent Pelly's new production travels to the Met from the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Piotr Beczala and Paulo Szot also star, with the Met's Principal Guest Conductor Fabio Luisi on the podium.The Warner Theatre will offer a complimentary pre-broadcast lecture to all ticket holders given by opera expert Nunzio DeFilippis from 10 – 10:45. Mr. DeFilippis has taught "Opera, a Passion for all Ages" at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, UConn Waterbury CT.Tickets for this event are $20, $18 for seniors and students and $10 for children 13 & under.
