The Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education has announced the first of its 2012 Master Class Series with Best-Selling Magic Tree House Series authors, Mary Pope Osborne and Will Osborne. The class will be held in the Carole and Ray Neag Performing Arts Center Studio Theatre Lobby on Saturday, March 10 from 2-3:30pm.

Warner Theatre Director of Education, Isabel Carrington; "We are thrilled to welcome back Mary Pope Osborne and Will Osborne for the first installment of our 2012 Master Class Series, where these beloved authors will inspire and delight children and adults in attendance. Just as the arts are a gateway to the wonders of imagination, reading and writing can breathe brilliant new life into our minds and hearts. The Osbornes' tremendous works and campaigns on behalf of literacy and the joys of reading are magnificent examples of this."

Join Mary Pope Osborne and Will Osborne for a one-of-a-kind master class and talk-back session for children and adults, ages 5 & up. Mr. & Mrs. Osborne will discuss the world of writing and publishing, as well as exciting upcoming Magic Tree House projects being developed in order to bring the love of reading and culture into the lives and hearts of children all over the world. "Books are magic. Just by reading a book, you can travel the world and still be home in time for dinner”, says Mrs. Osborne.

A book signing will be held following the class for students who wish to bring their favorite Magic Tree House books with them to be signed by the authors.

The cost for attending this Master Class is $25. Seating is limited so please reserve your seats early to avoid disappointment. To register for the class, call the Warner box office at 860-489-7180.
