"Nina Watt is a teaching artist of incredible depth and international renown. We are fortunate and thrilled that our students will have the opportunity to develop under her caring guidance," Hartt Dance Division Director Stephen Pier said of Watt's appointment. "I am sure she will be an inspiration and a very rich resource for the Dance Division and for the entire Hartt School."

After retiring from the Company, she danced in four projects with Doug Varone, including at The Metropolitan Opera, Jacob's Pillow, and the Wolftrap National Parks Film Project.
