In a sure sign spring is near, The Bushnell announced today its 2015-2016 Broadway Series season. Beginning this fall, The Bushnell will bring seven popular titles to Hartford as part of the Series, along with an additional off-Series family favorite to round out a strong season lineup. Series titles are THE ILLUSIONISTS, a mind-blowing showcase of magic and illusion; family friendly smash hits Disney's NEWSIES and Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA; LOVE LETTERS, starring Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal; and crowd-pleasing sensations MOTOWN THE MUSICAL and DIRTY DANCING. The seventh title, a current Broadway hit, will be announced in May. The 2015-2016 Bushnell Broadway Series is co-sponsored by Farmington Bank and Travelers.

Last year's crowd-pleaser RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER was also announced to return to Hartford December 11-13 as a special off-subscription offering, and perennial favorite MAMMA MIA will return to The Bushnell Halloween weekend, October 30 - November 1.

Bushnell President and CEO David Fay said of the lineup, "I'm thrilled that the staff at The Bushnell has again put together an exciting and well-rounded season of high-quality entertainment from Broadway and beyond. There is much to appeal to families, Broadway traditionalists, and those who enjoy contemporary theatrical offerings. I think our season ticket holders and single ticket buyers will be very happy with these selections."

Current season ticket holders will receive their renewal packages in March, and new subscription packages will be available in early summer; new patrons interested in season tickets may call the box office now to have their name placed on a waiting list. Single tickets will go on sale this summer. All dates, titles, and artists are subject to change.

Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, January 12-17, 2016

LOVE LETTERS, February 9-16, 2016

Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal, stars of the classic film Love Story, are reunited on stage!
