The Square One Theatre Company in Stratford, Connecticut announces that its 29th Anniversary Season will include the following stage productions:

The God Game, Suzanne Bradbeers' timely play about politics and faith, marriage and friendship, choices and consequences. According to The New York Times, "The audience can never be sure what's going to happen next." Just in time for the upcoming national mid-term elections, The God Game runs Thursday, November 1 through Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Clever Little Lies by Joe DiPietro offers sidesplitting chaos as Alice digs for the truth in her marriage and gets even more honesty than anyone expected resulting in "Good old-fashioned comfort food for theatre goers" (The New York Times). Clever Little Lies runs Thursday, February 28 through Sunday, March 17, 2019.

Lungs, a Connecticut premiere of Duncan MacMillan's off-kilter love story that is at once harrowing and blisteringly funny, has been hailed by The Express as "The most beautiful, quietly shattering play of the year!" Lungs runs Thursday, May 2 through Sunday, May 19, 2019.

All three productions, offering bits and pieces of politics, relationships, love, marriage, comedy plus much more, will be staged by Tom Holehan, Artistic Director of Square One Theatre.

Discounted (save $16) three play subscriptions are currently available for purchase through November 19, 2018. Single tickets go on sale after October 15, 2018.

For each play's three-week engagement, performances begin on

first Thursday (only) at 7pm, followed by

Fridays at 8pm,

Saturdays at 4pm AND 8pm and

Sundays at 2pm.

Square One Theatre continues its residency at Stratford Academy located at 719 Birdseye Street in Stratford, Connecticut.

Stratford Academy's stage has been re-configured by Square One into an intimate 64-seat black box-type theatre. The audience is seated in new padded chairs on the stage along with the actors, insuring that all patrons have a good seat to hear and see. With this redesigned, modern venue, no audience member is more than 15 feet from the stage.

All performances are on the stage of Stratford Academy. The GPS setting is 719 Birdseye Street in Stratford, Connecticut, located off I-95 Exit 32 (northbound and southbound). There is ample FREE parking.
