SOMETHING ROTTEN! Comes to the Warner

Welcome to the Renaissance! The Warner Stage Company will present the outrageous, crowd-pleasing musical farce, SOMETHING ROTTEN!, on the Main Stage November 2-10, 2019.

Set in the 1590's, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as "The Bard." When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world's very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, an all that jazz.

Created by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick and successful screenwriters Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell, SOMETHING ROTTEN! was lauded by audience members and critics alike, receiving several Best Musical nominations and hailed by Time Out New York as "the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years!" Performances are November 2, 8 & 9 at 8 pm and November 3 & 10 at 2 pm. The Warner Stage Company production is directed by Joe Guttadauro with musical direction by Dan Ringuette and choreographed by Sharon W. Houk.

The cast features Frank Beaudry as Nick Bottom, Zachary Taylor as Nigel Bottom, Travis Karas as William Shakespeare, Eric Lindblom as Thomas Nostradamus, Alyssa Bianca as Bea Bottom, John Ozerhoski as Brother Jeremiah, Erica Blasko as Portia and Michael Ruby as the Minstrel with Thad Asheim, Trecia Austin, Tyler Bard, Caitlin Beaudry, Tanya Celadon, Robyn Colossa, Grace Consonni, Aneudy Corchado, Marc Evan Costanzo, Riley Delaney, Magdalene Eberle, Emily Flynn, Rick Fountain, Pat Hearn, Jenna Iacono, Scott Iwanicki, Jason Maur, Jean-Marie McGrath, Emily Minor, John Mullen, John Ozerhoski, Charlie Pelletier, Roxie Quinn, Michael Ruby, Eric Wilczak, Kristi Yurko and Dylan Zawisza rounding out the full company.
