SHRINE Adds More Star Power to October with Special 'Wicked Halloween' Week Celebrations Featuring Today's Top DJs
This year's Halloween celebrations at SHRINE will be one to remember, as New England's favorite party spot will offer multiple bashes to celebrate the holiday for "Wicked Halloween" week, all featuring top DJs on the scene today.
International sensation Hardwell will provide the beats for I Love EDM Tuesday's on Oct. 29 with an opening set from SHRINE favorite, Carlos Melange, before DJ Benny Benassi produces a show-stopping set on Halloween night. Both nights will be open costume parties, with guests encouraged to come dressed to impress.
Hardwell, or Robbert van de Corput, is an award-winning DJ, producer, musician label manager and lover of all things music. Ranked #6 in the DJ Mag "Top 100" in 2012, he has already long made a name for himself in the EDM world as an international sensation at just 25-years-old. His biggest track of 2012, "Spaceman," has seen more sets, bootlegs and remixes than any of his previous releases and was distributed in more than 25 countries worldwide. His most recent track, "Apollo," featured Amba Shepherd.
Milan-born DJ and producer, Benny Benassi, is a chart-topping megastar who delivers a flawless show with his mixture of techno, electro and house-infused sounds. Benassi regularly headlines performances at festivals around the globe, such as Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Movement and UV Nation, and holds high-profile remixes and collaborations with stars like Madonna, Kelis, David Bowie and Chris Brown. He also received a Grammy Award for his exceptional rework of Public Enemy.
