Ridgefield Playhouse to Present ABBA Tribute Concert, 5/12

"Feel the beat of the tambourine" with ABBA THE CONCERT - A Tribute to ABBA at The Ridgefield Playhouse! ABBA The Concert puts on a fantastic, dance-inducing performance while playing legendary hits from ABBA including "Mamma Mia," "Take a Chance on Me," "Fernando," "S.O.S.," "Money, Money, Money," "The Winner Takes All," "Waterloo," "Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie," and "Dancing Queen" and many more!

This incredible show will bring one of the greatest pop groups in the history of music back to life on Thursday, May 12 at 8 p.m. as part of the Pepsi Rock Series powered by Xfinity. ABBA The Concert is known for its amazing ABBA-sound and excellent live "ABBA-esque" performance - complete with costumes! The group has toured more than 20 countries and done more than 1,000 shows. Two original members of the original ABBA rhythm section tour with the band. ABBA The Concert's line-up includes saxophone players Johan Stengard and Ulf Andersson, legendary bass players Mike Watson and Rutger Gunnarsson, Lassse Wellander and Janne Schaffer, drummers Ola Brunkert and Roger Palm. This is the closest performance to ABBA you will ever experience! ABBA's music is still as popular as ever and has millions of fans, old and new. ABBA The Concert is recognized as the top ABBA tribute group in the world. The group has had many successful U.S. and international tours including trips to Germany, Spain, Scandinavia, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, England, and the Philippines. ABBA The Concert has also performed at the famous Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and the Highland Park in Chicago.
