Ridgefield Playhouse to Host CHRISTMAS WITH THE CELTS, 12/4

As seen on PBS, Christmas With The Celts brings audiences to their feet! The music, energy, humor and passion of this ensemble of Irish born and Irish-American cast are infectious! Scottish/Irish traditional tunes as well as their own Beatles/American pop-influenced original songs with Celtic instrumentation make this a must-see holiday show. Christmas With The Celts, which has aired on more than ninety PBS stations and associated regional networks, is coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, December 4, at 8 p.m. Palm Bay International will host a tasting of wines/spirits in the lobby at 7 p.m. Aranci 67 (7 Main St., Redding/Georgetown, CT) will pour a complimentary glass of house wine with dinner the night of this show when tickets are presented. This event is underwritten by Ogham Art and is part of the Palm Bay International World Beat Series with media sponsor WFUV 90.7fm.

This uplifting, spirited holiday celebration featuring ancient Irish and Scottish Christmas carols, some never before heard by modern ears, along with traditional Christmas favorites, has got all the holiday trimmings - singers, dancers, and musicians - to make this holiday the most memorable ever.
