The Zmed Brothers bring a genuine and youthful Everly Brothers experience to the stage, performing all of their classic hits - "Bye, Bye Love," "Wake Up Little Susie," "When Will I Be Loved" and more! The Zmed brothers, Zachary and Dylan, celebrate the genetic intimacy so ever present in the harmonies created by Don and Phil Everly. The Ridgefield Playhouse and Pepsi Rock Series Powered by xfinity presents The Everly Brothers Experience featuring The Zmed Brothers on Friday, May 5 at 8 p.m. - a one night only event partially underwritten by Benchmark Senior Living at Ridgefield Crossings. "The Everly Brothers Experience Featuring The Zmed Brothers" captures the soulful, two-part harmony that made the original Everly Brothers famous.

The Zmed brothers transform into Don and Phil, performing all of The Everly Brothers hits. The Everly Brothers, whose musical career lasted more than 30 years, finished with 35 Billboard Hot 100 singles, including 26 that made the top 40. In addition to charting multiple songs, the brothers' music has inspired some of the biggest names in rock 'n' roll, including The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. The duo was also among the first 10 artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986. Theater fans may recognize the name Zmed. The boys' father is Adrian Zmed, a noted movie, television and stage actor who is best known for playing Danny Zuko in "Grease" - on Broadway and on several National Tours.

The Everly Brothers made pop music that was truly timeless - a blend of country-influenced rock that featured the kind of tight harmonies that only brothers can produce. The Everly Brothers made their last recording as a duo in 1998. On January 3, 2014, Phil Everly died of lung cancer - 16 days before his 75th birthday.
