The Warner Stage Company's 2014-15 season opens with Reefer Madness in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre September 13th at 8 pm.

Inspired by the original 1936 film of the same name, this raucous musical comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downwards spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex and violence. You won't be able to resist the spoofy fun of Reefer Madness. The addictive and clever musical numbers range from big Broadway-style showstoppers to swing tunes. This dynamic show will go straight to your head? Reefer Madness is a highly stylized and satirical political commentary.

The Warner Stage Company production of Reefer Madness is directed by Keith Paul with Music Director T.J. Thompson and Choreographer Sheila Waters Fucci. The cast includes Katie Brunetto, William Dalton, Branden Daniels, Nick Drozdenko, Melissa Greaves, Rodney K., Holly Martin, Meric Martin, Josh Newey, Lana Peck, Jeanine Pray, Jessie Sawyer, Madalyn Sheehy, Cole Sutton, Katie Tewksbury, Jason Truby, and Morgana Kate Watson.

Performances are Saturday, September 13 & 20 at 8 pm, Sunday, September 14 & 21 at 2 pm and Friday, September 19 at 8 pm. Tickets are $29 and can be purchased by calling the Warner Box Office at (860) 489-7180 or at www.warnertheatre.org

It contains adult humor, religious parody and drug use, as well as suggested violence and sexual explicitness. It may be inappropriate for younger performers and audiences.
