Playhouse on Park Announces First Comedy Night of the Season, 9/15

Playhouse on Park kicks off the 2012-13 Comedy Season on Saturday, September 15th with its first comedy night of the season. Vinnie Mark headlines and will be joined by opening act Jodi Weiner and emcee Sandy Elhers for "an evening of at least 90 minutes of laughs." Advanced reservations are required, seating is reserved. This is a BYOB event.

Vinnie has been performing comedy and magic for the past 20 years. He began his career in an Improv Group called “The Laughter Company” with Bob Nelson and Rosie O’Donnell. He then went on to be a solo performer and has appeared on “Late Night With David Letterman”, “Comedy on the Road”, and “VH-I Stand-Up Spotlight”. He has opened for Kevin James, Ray Romano, Gilbert Godfried, Dennis Wolfberg, Brett Butler, Crosby Stills & Nash, Rodney Dangerfield and many others. Vinnie has appeared in Las Vegas at the MGM, Reno at the Silver Legacy, and Atlantic City at the Tropicana and the Borgata.

The Playhouse will host a total of five comedy nights this season along with a full roster of Improv events. Hartford's most affordable and professional theater, Playhouse on Park is nestled on Park Road in West Hartford where the parking is free, the actors are right off Broadway and the back row is just four rows from the stage.
