Playhouse on Park Adds Special TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE Matinee

By:

The moving and powerful drama Tuesdays With Morrie continues its run at Playhouse on Park. An exclusive Tuesday matinee with specially priced seating has been planned for Tuesday, October 13 at 2pm.

Fans of the touching and unforgettable book will be thrilled to see Tuesdays With Morrie come to life on stage. Adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom, this story chronicles the relationship between a professor and his student over the span of several years. Mitch, a successful journalist whose life is dedicated to his work, reconnects with Morrie, a former professor who is facing life with Lou Gehrig's disease.

Geary Danihy of CT Theater News and Reviews observes: "Sometimes, less is more. Such is the case with Playhouse on Park's Tuesdays with Morrie, a gentle, touching play that inexorably works its way into your heart." And while the cast may be small in number, Mitch and Morrie's conversations encompass life's purpose, marriage, death, and acceptance.

All tickets for Tuesday's special matinee are priced at $22.50, all seats reserved. Call the box office at 860-523-5900 x10 or visit www.playhouseonpark.org for your tickets today! Tuesdays With Morrie runs through October 18. Tickets are now on sale, ranging from $25-$35, all seats reserved. Student and Senior Discounts are available. Playhouse on Park is located at 244 Park Road, West Hartford, CT 06119
