Photo Flash: Meet the Cast of Pantochino Productions' New Musical GLITZ!
The original holiday musical features book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi and music by Justin Rugg. It's described as a wildly funny spoof of child glitz pageants outrageously mashed together with A Christmas Carol. Swirling in delicious controversy, the pageant's host, Shayde Shams is at the center of tinsels, tiaras, little girls with big hair and their outspoken mothers. With a touch of Dickens, this modern tale becomes an instant holiday classic.
Featured in the show are two real life mother-daugher teams! Dale Allen and her daughter Dani Corrigan play Helen and Hailey Ann Haley. Shelley Poggio plays Mugsy Loren while her daughter Kylie Poggio plays Barbie Spangles. Also featured in the large cast are Mary Mannix and Elise Sullivan as the Wineracks, Jenn Smith and Peyton Iott as the McCutcheons, Katie Durham as Cheryl Spangles and Cassie Gerace as Sophia Loren. Also in the cast is Pantochino's own Jimmy Johansmeyer as Shams, Rugg as musician Buddy Panace, Stavros Koumbaros as Burnsy and Jessica Intelisano as Donna Lisa Derrigner. An small ensemble of other contestants includes Thea Ryan, Emma Fuchs, Delia Eisenmen, Olivia Foley and Clair Koppy.
