By:

Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc. continues its new musical spoof, "Glam Kitty Squad," through Sunday, April 7th at the Milford Center for the Arts on Railroad Avenue in Milford, Connecticut. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Featuring book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi and music by Justin Rugg, "Glam Kitty Squad" is a family friendly pop musical spoofing television serials from Charlie's Angels to Batman. Set in a campy, make-believe feline world, the show follows three mild-mannered kittens by day, who become crime-stopping heroes by night! Each of the show's two acts features a different adventure with new characters for the glamorous trio to capture, and to rescue.

The cast includes Jimmy Johanmeyer, Mary Mannix, Shelley Marsh Poggio, Marcia Maslo, Peyton Iott and Jennifer Smith. Composer/Musical Director Rugg appears in the show as one of the comical villains. Johansmeyer created the 'glam' costumes for the cast, with sets by Von Del Mar and lighting by Joey Moro. Bernardi has directed.

Performances of "Glam Kitty Squad" are Friday April 5th at 7:30pm and Sunday, April 7th at 2pm. The show will the move to Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury on Saturday, April 13th at 11am. Corporate Sponsor for the show is Sundae Spa. Milford Center for the Arts is located at 40 Railroad Avenue in Milford on the northbound side of the Milford train station. Tickets are $16. and available online at www.pantochino.com.
