Pantochino Productions Inc, Connecticut's brand new, non-profit, entertaining theatre company will present "Cinderella Skeleton, the Musical" for a limited engagement of eight performances, October 21 - 30 at Arts Hall on Audubon Street in New Haven.

"Cinderella Skeleton, the Musical" is based on the award winning book by Robert D. San Souci. The new family-friendly musical version features book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi and music by Scott Simonelli. Set in a magical graveyard called Boneyard Acres, it is a fun, fresh and frightfully delightful spin on the classic Cinderella tale. "It's a fun-filled eye-popping experience for the young ones with enough comedy, clever and one-lines for kids of all ages to enjoy." said Bernardi.

Pantochino's Jimmy Johansmeyer is creating the stunning costumes based on the wickedly wonderful illustrations from the book. "It's a fun and creative spin to a favorite story, and its perfect entertainment for the Halloween season," said Johansmeyer. "And what's even better, adults enjoy it just as much as the kids do," he added.

Bernardi and Johansmeyer, founders of Pantochino are best known throughout Southern Connecticut for their inimitable brand of theatre for young audiences. Along with composer Simonelli, their work includes "Halloween High School," "Auntie Claus," and "Beau and the Beast" among others. Johansmeyer, who will also appear in the show, has designed costumes for off-Broadway, summer, regional and educational theatres across the country. Bernardi is not only a playwright, but also an actor and director who is recipient of the Connecticut Critic's Circle Tom Killen Award for Outstanding Contribution to Theatre.

"Cinderella Skeleton, the Musical" features a professional company of actors from New York City and Connecticut and also includes an ensemble of superbly talented student actors from the Greater New Haven area.

"Cinderella Skeleton, the Musical" will be performed at ACES Educational Center for the Arts Arts Hall located at 55 Audubon Street in the thriving visual and performing arts district of New Haven. Performances are Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 5:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. All seats are $15.00. Parking is available in the adjacent Audubon Court Garage.
