If you like to be in-the-know about what's trending in the arts, entertainment and lifestyle scene, the place to get that information and much more is "Your Palace - Your Place" the rebranded name of the Palace Theater's radio show heard over WATR 1320AM from 9:10a.m. 10a.m., on the first and third Fridays of the month. It is a fast paced 50 minutes intended to bring listeners an eclectic mix of celebrity interviews, theater news from Broadway and other arts venues and attractions from across the state, foodie segments featuring chefs and owners from area restaurants, and other special guests dropping by to dish on fun and fascinating topics.
Produced and hosted by Palace Marketing and Public Relations Officer Sheree Marcucci, the radio program's scheduled guests for today, October 16, include: Courtney Ligi, Director of Events for the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce and the creative force behind YPOWR (Young Professionals of Waterbury Regional) networking group, who will be joined by Julia Weston, MBA, FIC Financial Associate at Thrivent Financial to discuss the group's latest winter blanket drive; an interview with actor David Johnson who plays wily lead character Max Bialystock in the Palace's upcoming presentation of Mel Brooks' Tony Award-winning musical The Producers on Oct. 30; plus listeners can play along for a quick round of live trivia pitting Millennials against Baby Boomers to promote the theater's new Palace Pursuit: Cocktails & Trivia Night hosted by James Cori from WhatTrivia.
