Palace Theater Announces Guests for 1/22 Radio Show
Featured guests include Vasilios Kaloidis, the Greek proprietor of Vasi's and Spartan Restaurant and Bar in Waterbury, who will share samples of his signature dishes and discuss what's new at his establishments; and Wallace Middle Scholl Italian Teacher Ralph Belvedere, who along with two of his students, will participate in an interview with Emmy Award winning host of Public Television's "Lidia's Italy," Lidia Bastianich. Bastianich will appear at the theater on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7:30p.m. as part of her new tour, "An Intimate Conversation with Lidia Bastianich." Belvedere initiated contact with the popular chef and restauranteur, who is a native of Italy, and as a result, his students will have the opportunity to meet Bastianich in person and attend her show.
