Opera House Players, Inc. to Present SHE LOVES ME, 9/11-27

Opera House Players, Inc. will present the sweet and romantic musical SHE LOVES ME from September 11 through 27 (Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm) at the Broad Brook Opera House, 107 Main Street, Broad Brook, CT. Set in a 1930's European perfumery, shop clerks Amalia and Georg, more often than not, don't see eye to eye. After both respond to a "lonely hearts advertisement" in the newspaper, they now live for the love letters they exchange, but the identity of their admirers remains unknown. Discover with Amalia and Georg the identity of their true loves and all the twists and turns along the way! Based on the play "Parfumerie" by Miklos Laszlo, three movies were also made based on the same play - "The Shop Around The Corner" starring Jimmy Stewart, "In The Good Old Summertime" starring Judy Garland, and "You've Got Mail" starring Tom Hanks. This production of SHE LOVES ME is directed by Meghan Lynn Allen, with musical direction by Steven D. Cirillo, and choreography by Karen Anne McMahon. The remainder of the Opera House Players' season includes Man of La Mancha (November), Avenue Q (February, 2016), and Into the Woods (May, 2016).
