MRS. DOUBTFIRE, WATER FOR ELEPHANTS and More Set for Palace Theater Waterbury 26-27 Broadway Series

The Palace Theater has revealed its 2026–2027 Broadway Series, featuring five productions. This season's lineup takes audiences on a journey—from a Depression‑era circus spectacle to contemporary San Francisco, with stops in a beloved Connecticut pizza parlor, a rock concert–styled ballroom and the cornfields of Cob County along the way.

Mrs. Doubtfire, December 12-13, 2026:

Everyone's favorite Scottish nanny is headed to Waterbury in this internationally acclaimed hit musical. Based on the beloved film, MRS. DOUBTFIRE tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor who will do anything for his kids. 

Water for Elephants, January 8-9, 2027:

After losing what matters most, a young man jumps a moving train unsure of where the road will take him and finds a new home with the remarkable crew of a traveling circus, and a life—and love—beyond his wildest dreams. Seen through the eyes of his older self, his adventure becomes a poignant reminder that if you choose the ride, life can begin again at any age. 

Burn the Floor: Maks & Peta Live!, May 15-16, 2027: 

MAKS & PETA LIVE! is the ultimate high-voltage dance extravaganza, exploding with jaw-dropping choreography and breath-taking moves, filled with infectious energy and irresistible charm, celebrating the pure joy of dance.

The production features Maksim “Maks” Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, two of the most influential and celebrated Ballroom and Latin dancers in contemporary entertainment.

Shucked, June 1-3, 2027:
