Hartt Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band Performs At Lincoln Theater 12/9

This combined concert with the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band features James Jackson leading the Hartt Symphony Band and Glen Adsit directing the Wind Ensemble. The concert features two guest conductors. Graduate Student Matt Forte leads the Symphony Band on Ron Nelson's Passacaglia and Ertan Esener conducts members of the Wind Ensemble on the Oliver Messian's 20th century masterpiece Oiseaux Exotiques.
Concluding the concert is Susan Botti's latest wind ensemble work Terra Cruda, which is a powerful new work that explores aspects of aggression.
