The education department at Hartford Stage is launching a new MainStage Master Class series for adults beginning in March, featuring special topic workshops taught by guest artists featured in our productions.

The goal of the MainStage Master Class series is to create a direct link between our growing Adult Studio and MainStage productions. Adults in the greater Hartford area will now have the opportunity to supplement their performance training with the expertise of some of the premiere performers Hartford Stage employs from around the world. Additionally, the workshops will further expose the high caliber of our adult training programs here at Hartford Stage, which currently includes the following spectrum of annual course offerings: Introduction to Acting, Introduction to Improv, Scene Study, Acting Shakespeare, and Actor Showcase.

The MainStage Master Class series will launch with a three-part workshop series called "Movement Scores in Theater" taught by Tymberly Canale (Man in a Case), taking place Sunday March 3, 10, & 17 from 10am-12pm. Cost is $135.00 per student for ages 18 and up. Space is limited. Students may sign up online (www.hartfordstage.org/adult-classes) or by calling Chelsea Caplan, Education Sales Coordinator,860.520.7244.
