Connecticut Film Festival to Feature Q&A With Matthew Modine, 4/26
Veteran movie star Matthew Modine will be a special guest at the Connecticut Film Festival on 26 April 2012 where he will participate in a Q&A about filmmaking at 6pm at the Palace Theatre located at 165 Main Street in Danbury, CT.
The evening will include a screening of Modine’s award-winning new short film, Jesus Was a Commie which unspools as the Screening Opening Night Film alongside Confidence Game.
The 15-minute film, which Modine wrote, co-directed (with Terence Ziegler) and stars in, has played at festivals from Italy to Canada. It was awarded the SpIFF Award for Best Short Film at this years Spokane Internatioanl Film Festival and the Founders Prize for Best Short Film at the Traverse City Film Festival, founded by Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore amongst many other top honors.
