Comix At Foxwoods Welcomes Greg Fitzsimmons, 2/28-3/3

Emmy Award-winning writer, Greg Fitzsimmons, will be returning to the Comix At Foxwoods stage for four shows next year with performances Thursday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m., Friday, Mar. 1 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Mar. 2 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The final show will be one not for the faint of heart or easily offended, as fans will be welcomed to witness a "Nasty Show with Greg Fitzsimmons." Lines will be crossed and common decency will be left at the door during this final uproarious performance.

Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for general advance admission ($30 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $40 ($50 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Mixing his incisive wit with scathing sarcasm, Fitzsimmons has achieved success as a stand-up and host on both radio and TV, in addition to his extensive list of accolades for his writing prowess. He has also made more than 50 visits to "The Howard Stern Show," and hosts "The Greg Fitzsimmons Show" on Sirius XM's "Howard 101," while putting out the hugely popular "FitzDog Radio" podcast twice a week.

A frequent panelist on E!'s hit show, "Chelsea Lately," his book, "Dear Mrs. Fitzsimmons," climbed the best-seller charts and garnered outstanding reviews from NPR and Vanity Fair. In addition to the four Daytime Emmys he won as a writer and producer on "The Ellen Degeneres Show," his honors include "The Jury Award for Best Comedian" from The HBO Comedy Arts Festival and a "Cable Ace Award" for serving as host for MTV's "Idiot Savants."

In his spare time, Fitzsimmons is currently developing pilots for both Nickelodeon and VH1, where he's also made many appearances on "Best Week Ever" and the "I Love the..." series. His writing credits include HBO's "Lucky Louie," "Cedric the Entertainer Presents," "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher" and "The Man Show," among others. He has two half-hour specials on Comedy Central, and in 2008, he took his career to a new level when he hosted the 25th Annual "AVN Adult Movie Awards" on Showtime.
