Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets, the Castle Craig Players have added a special ENCORE PERFORMANCE of "THE SANTALAND DIARIES" this Saturday, December 19th at 8pm.

"The show played to sold out, standing room crowds this past weekend," said Ian Galligan, who plays Crumpet the elf in this one-man show by acclaimed humorist David Sedaris, "The response has been so incredible, so I'm thrilled that we are extending the run!"

WHAT AUDIENCES HAVE BEEN SAYING:
"I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a show this much! Absolutely amazing!"
"We laughed until we were in tears! And the cabaret seating makes for a great girls night out!"
"One of the best things I've ever seen on stage! Please make this show an annual CCP holiday tradition!"
"RUN to see this hilarious one-man show! Ian Galligan gives an outstanding performance!!"

Go deep into the heart of Christmas as it exists in our consumerized world and get your holiday in high gear with this hilarious one-ma show, written by National Public Radio's well-loved humorist DAVID SEDARIS. A struggling young writer takes a job as a Christmas elf at Macy's in New York City, and offers a sardonic, witty, irreverent accounting of elf training, bad Santa's, abusive customers, and humiliating conditions. Melanie Del Sole, Castle Craig's co-founder & artistic director, directs the show, which is recommended for "mature elves" only, due to strong language & references.

Tickets are on sale now, and selling fast! Buy tickets online at www.castlecraig.org or by calling toll-free 1-800-838-3006. Performances held at the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse, 59 West Main Street, Meriden.

*Presented Cabaret Style with Table Seating!* Patrons are invited to bring their own dinner, drinks and snacks to enjoy! Doors open one hour prior to the performance!
