Original Productions Theatre Presents A World Premiere Musical Production Steambath BluesNovember 7-16, 2019

Seven husbands unhappy with their wives and lives plot to disappear, leaving their wives to juggle the fallout in Steambath Blues, a musical dramatic comedy, presented by Original Productions Theatre. This world premiere with libretto and lyrics by Billie E. Hazelbaker and music by Jerry Danielsen is directed by Bill Goldsmith and will be staged Thursday through Saturday, November 7-16, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 10, at 2 p.m. at the Abbey Theater of Dublin, 5600 Post Road, Dublin, OH 43017.

With musical direction by Stephanie Stephens and choreography by Jackie Comisar, the cast (alphabetically) includes Brad Barbin (Harry), Scott R. Clay* (Jim), Glen Garcia (Joe), Penny Donahue (Bertie), Bill Goldsmith (Hiram), Carolyn Harding (Millie), Stephanie R. Lancaster (Claire), Anita McFarren (Fran), Lynne McPherson (Policewoman/Bailiff), Abigail Murray (Dora), Bethany Schoeff (Ellen), Mark Schuliger (Tom), Mitchell Spiro (the Judge), Bruce Thompson (Dick), Phil Wells (the Detective), Kate Willis (Alice), and Scott A. Willis (John).

Parental guidance recommended.

Showtimes and dates for Steambath Blues are 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7; 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8; 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9; 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10; and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14; 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15; and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16.

A talkback follows the November 7 opening night performance.
