On the day Princess Aurora was born, her parents threw a grandiose party inviting the whole kingdom except for the evil sorceress, Maleficent! As punishment, Maleficent left a curse on the princess dooming her by her 16th birthday. When that ill-fated day arrives, three fairies – Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather – use their magic to save Princess Aurora. They the curse of death into merely a spell of deep sleep from which she could awake with a kiss of true love.
