This attractive mixed program serves as a bridge between tradition and future, choreographers include times, places and styles that display plasticity which exhibits Santiago Ballet today. Maurice Béjart needs no introduction: it is one of the most important names of twentieth century dance routine in the repertoire of the company. Bolero back with all its sensuous, visual and auditory, mesmerizes every minute and short of breath at the end. It is without doubt one of the highest points, which will include the interpretation of Friedemann Vogel. The news comes on the heels of Elizabeth Croxatto with a new version of one of the most revolutionary ballets history and Demis Volpi, Stuttgart resident choreographer, who returns with a creation for the company, after Spaceman (2012). In addition, Alicia and Jason Reilly Amatriain bring two interesting contemporary pas de deux, Monalisa by Itzik Galili and Le grand pas de deux of Christian Spuck. This festival also marks a milestone, because for the first time the Ballet de Santiago shares scene with the Chilean National Ballet (BANCH).
