The Shadowbox Sketch Comedy Festival Runs 7/21, 7/22

Nothing cures the summertime blues like laughter and Shadowbox will be serving up plenty of those in July at their first-ever Sketch Comedy Festival!

Day One features side-splitting sketch comedy from 6 regional troupes performed on the Shadowbox stage with feedback from original Saturday Night Live cast member and Shadowbox fried Garrett Morris. Shadowbox's house band BillWho? rounds out the evening with rock ‘n' roll that'll blow the doors off.

Day Two brings all the troupes together into one cohesive production, "The Best of the Fest!" All six troupes will perform sketches mingled with Shadowbox's sketches featuring Morris. The show is tied together by house band BillWho?.

"The Best of the Fest" show will resemble a regular Shadowbox show, but with the amazing surprise of Garrett Morris and the versatility of the regions' top sketch troupes.

As professional performers who specialize is sketch comedy, we recognize the skill and effort it takes to successfully present a sketch comedy production. We'd like to give regional troupes an opportunity to show their best work, while promoting this difficult and rewarding form of expressions and entertainment.
