The Cleveland Orchestra Appoints Alexandra Preucil as Assistant Concertmaster

Music Director Franz Welser-Möst and The Cleveland Orchestra today announced the appointment of a new Assistant Concertmaster and a new member of the second violin section. Alexandra Preucil has been appointed Assistant Concertmaster.

She joined the Orchestra's violin section in 2008, and assumes her new position this week and performs in the Severance Hall concerts on May 3, 4, and 5. Ms. Preucil holds the Dr. Jeanette Grasselli Brown and Dr. Glenn R. Brown Endowed Chair.

Yun-Ting Lee joins the Orchestra this week as a member of the second violin section and performs in the May 1 and 3 concerts at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
