THE LYONS to Run 5/30-6/22 at Circuit Playhouse

In this dark comedy, Rita Lyons is the matriarch of a family facing major crossroads. Her husband Ben is dying, her adult children are wrestling with their own secrets, and what's worse - she can't decide how to redecorate her living room! As they gather in Ben's hospital room to say goodbye, these four very isolated people, who are as afraid of closeness as they are of solitude, attempt human connection with hysterical results. The Lyons is directed by Randall T. Stevens and features Playhouse on the Square Resident Company Members Irene Crist (Other Desert Cities; August: Osage County) and Christopher Joel Onken (Grace; Red) with Ron Gephart (Hot L Baltimore) and Leslie Lee Lansky (The Dinner Party). Jacob Wingfield and Taylor Wood make their Circuit Playhouse, Inc. debuts.

The Lyons runs May 30 - June 22 at The Circuit Playhouse. The Pay What You Can performance is Thursday, June 5 at 8:00 pm. The Circuit Playhouse is located at 51 S. Cooper Street in Midtown Memphis.
