Shaker Theatre Presents PIPPIN

This year, a company of over 60 students and adults is coming together to create Pippin. Directed by Department Chair Scott J. Sumerak, the co-curricular production engages students enrolled in several areas of the Shaker Heights High School Theatre Arts Department course curriculum. including the ensemble actor training program, the production training program; and the technical studies program, as well as students not enrolled in classes, in a variety of roles: performers, musicians, managers, dramaturges, designers, and technicians.
The adult team also includes Mario Clopton-Zymler (Music Director) Chuck Tisdale (Technical Director, Scenic & Lighting Designer), Melissa Berteloni (Choreographer), Chris Gilooly '16 (Sound Designer), Laurie Brem (Box Office Manager), and Jessica Shelley (Shaker Theatre Support President).
Director, Scott J. Sumerak says, "Nothing is more universal than the search for purpose. Pippin explores that idea and asks What happens when we don't find it? Sometimes, the best part of life is realizing that you have everything you need within yourself."
Please note if you are a Patron at the Associate level, your two complimentary tickets can only be redeemed by calling the Box Office at 295.4287 and leaving a voice mail for our Box Office Manager, Mrs. Laurie Brem.
