Overall Season:-Participate in weekly staff meetings-Creation of a Strategic Marketing Plan for the Season with clear goals, deadlines, and ways to measure success-Develop a strategy to increase CTT as a year-round brand rather than just one-off productions -Seek opportunities to create a broader, more national brand as well as weave the Company better into the fabric of Chicago-Timetable for execution of various marketing efforts for all shows, intensives, and galas-Ensure Marketing deadlines are being met-Assist in the implementation of the Advertising and Promotions budget (with Business Manager)-Create E-blasts using Constant Contact according to Marketing Plan deadlines-Attend one rehearsal a month to be aware of Company Work and Attend 2019/2020 Season performances and gala-Direct the Social Media Coordinator to gather photos/videos/etc. in rehearsal and supervise the strategic use of Social Media to support overall Marketing vision-Assist Benefit Committee with raising ticket sales to Benefit-Work with Group Theater Tix as liaison and provide timely information-Develop Tracking metrics to gauge success of various marketing efforts and make adjustments to increase effectiveness- Maintain and continually update list of online calendars to be updated; provide information to Social Media CoordinatorGraphic Design:-Liaise with Graphic Designer and provide guidelines for each piece (poster, postcard, social media images, advertisements) to be created, and ensure deadlines are being met-Develop visuals and flyers to brand and sell Intensives-Graphic design skills are necessary: for e-blasts and other images (as necessary)Relationships:-Work with Artistic Director to develop clear ideas for the visuals and language for the descriptive text of each production-Work with Social Media Coordinator to maintain branding/create voice-Marketing Contact for Performance Venues; assist venues with Discount Ticket Sales as needed; track ticket sale progress and adjust strategies accordingly-Liaise with Company Manager to provide Marketing images and text to tour venues-Coordinate volunteers for postering -Work with Business Manager to keep Website updated-Liaise with photographers and respond to photo requests-Liaise with Marketing and Publicity Firm Per Show/Benefit/Intensive:-A detailed marketing plan for each production, Intensive and Gala-Collaborate with AD to create Press Releases and send to Marketing FirmPer Show/Benefit (Audience Development):-Maintain CTT e-mail database -Create targeted appeals to audience/subscriber/donor base-Demographic Analysis of surveys from individual shows-Develop methods to obtain demographic information on CTT?s audienceThis is a part time position of 8-12 hours/week, which will be divided between time in-office (4 hours) and work from home (varies). Maximum hours per month will be 40 hours. Pay will be $20 - $25/hour based on experience. Earliest start date will be July 30th.This position requires someone with expertise in marketing, publicity and/or public relations. Experience working with dance and theater companies is a plus. They should also be communicative, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
