Covedale Center for the Performing Arts To Host Free Backstage Tours 4/10

The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, 4990 Glenway Avenue will be hosting free Backstage Tours on Saturday, April 10, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the theatre. Since 2002, "the Covedale" has undergone an exciting transformation, from a venerable, 1940's era movie house to one of the regions newest and most popular, landmark live theatres!
A long list of renovations, including the new entry plaza, refurbished beacon tower, building facade, lobby, seating, technical equipment have made for a dazzling showplace. But even that list has been superseded by the new $400,000.00 backstage addition, complete with shop, dressing rooms, green rooms and rehearsAl Hall.The Backstage Addition, like all of the Covedale's improvements, has been made possible by thousands of hours of work by volunteers and the donations of dedicated patrons of the theatre, as well as foundations, the City of Cincinnati and the State of Ohio.
