Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the second production of the 2009/10 Season, Oh Coward!, words and music by Noël Coward, devised by Roderick Cook. The production is directed by Jim Corti, with musical direction by Doug Peck. The production runs November 17, 2009 -March 21, 2010, at Writers' Theatre, 664 Vernon Avenue in Glencoe.

You're invited to a marvelous party! Weaving together songs and literary delights, Oh Coward! celebrates one of the theater's greatest entertainers- Noël Coward-who gave us the beloved works Blithe Spirit, Private Lives and Hay Fever. His effervescent music and charming quips combine for an unforgettable evening of the most memorable tunes of the 20th century.

Schedule: Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 7:30 p.m.

There will be no performance on February 3, March 9 & 16, 2010

Thursdays & Fridays: 8:00 p.m.

There will be no performance on November 26, December 24, 25 & 31, 2009 or January 1, 2010.

Saturdays: 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Sundays: 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

There will be no 6:00 p.m. performance on December 13, 2009, January 10, & March 21, 2010.

Wednesday Matinees: 2:00 p.m., on November 25 & December 9, 2009, January 6, February 3, March 10 & March 17, 2010.

Special events: Pre-show Lectures and Post-Show Discussions, led by the Writers' Theatre artistic staff and guest scholars, give audience members opportunities to further explore and gain helpful insight into the world of the play. Pre-show lectures are January 3, 31 & February 7, 2010. Post-show discussions are December 9 & 16, 2009, February 17 & 24 & March 2, 2010,
