Victory Gardens Theater Announces Upcoming Events

Victory Gardens Theater deepens student learning and enhances teacher practice through integration of arts in core curricula. We believe that students, teachers and artists experience new and meaningful ways of learning through their involvement in arts education programs. Victory Gardens affirms its commitment to the living playwright with arts education programming focused on exploring and heightening the practitioner's understanding of the processes and structures of modern storytelling in its varied forms.

Blue Door Humanities Night Returns Tomorrow

After a great first discussion, Victory Gardens is proud to welcome back Professor Sandra Adell of the University of Wisconsin-Madison for Humanities Night tomorrow. Specializing in literary criticism and theory, and in literature written by Blacks in English, French, and Spanish, Adell will offer insight and lead a discussion on themes related to Blue Door.

In honor of Blue Door, the VGT bar is featuring our brand new Pi-Tini! Don't worry about finishing it quickly - you can now enjoy your favorite beverages in the theater. Also, the bar will now be open both before and after the show, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy any of our drinks and concessions.

Holiday Drama Kids Featured on ABC 7
VGT Arts Education Director Robert Cornelius and Adventure Stage Education Director Merissa Shunk will appear on ABC 7 Midday news Monday morning at 11am to promote their upcoming Holiday Drama Kids Workshops.
