Victory Gardens Presents LITERALLY SEXY 3, 2/19

Victory Gardens presents Literally Sexy 3, a one-night-only, late-night event as a part of Victory Gardens Fresh Squeezed series.  The event will be held February 19, 2011, in the Zacek-McVay Theater at the Victory Gardens Biograph, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park.   The lobby bar will open at 9:45pm and the performance will begin at 10:30pm.

Literally Sexy 3 is a bawdy vaudeville revue dedicated to 'new works that get you in the mood.' This ribald evening of acts will join together a diverse group of Chicago artists with members of many Chicago sex communities in an event that celebrates the lover in all of us. Music, comedy and infotainment hit all your right spots as you learn, love and laugh the late-night away. Ask your questions, pick up a new sex toy and get in the mood on this, the sexiest night of your theatre-going year. Literally Sexy 3 will be a night of fun and fantasies that brings together gay and straight, bi and trans, queer and questioning for a sexy time on the Victory Gardens stage.
 
The evening, directed by Sean Kelly and coordinated by Associate Producer of Victory Gardens Fresh Squeezed Will Rogers, is hosted by comics Tiffany Puterbaugh and Chad Briggs.  The evening includes contributions and/or performances by:  Playwright, director and performer Seth Bockley;  Bilal Dardai and Jessica Hutchinson, the team behind New Leaf Theatre's 2010 hit The Man Who Was Thursday; The New Colony; G Boutique with  Lady G, the new bustle-wearing pop princess from 1876 with music by Second City's Julie Nichols;  Poet Kevin Coval with a brand new poem; the indie rock-infused choir Blue Ribbon Glee Club; Comics Brian Babylon, Bill Cruz, Joe Fernandez and Ever Mainard in Literally Sexy's first Sex Joke-Off; vaudevillian provocateurs Scootie and Jojo, fresh off their latest hit 'Alien Queen', with the premiere of a brand new work.  G Boutique will be selling some of its favorite toys in the lobby throughout the evening.  The stage manager is Reeny Hofrichter.
