Venus Cabaret Theater to Feature COMPANY & SPAMALOT

Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. Southport, announces the grand opening of Venus Cabaret Theater. This new performance space immediately adjoining Mercury Theater Chicago will offer unique dining and intimate theatrical experiences beginning with Stephen Sondheim's COMPANY (March 15 to May 20, 2018) and MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT (June 14 to August 5, 2018). The performances at VENUS CABARET THEATER will be complimented by culinary masterpieces and specialty cocktails. All of your senses will be delighted at VENUS CABARET THEATER where storytelling, music, dance, comedy and variety acts are paired with food and drink.

Mercury Theater Chicago's production will be presented on the new Venus Cabaret Stage. You will be welcomed as part of Bobby's 35th birthday party as we celebrate this new theater with Stephen Sondheim's bittersweet COMPANY. MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT (June 14 to August 5, 2018)

The Tony Award Winning Best Musical, SPAMALOT! Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, SPAMALOT retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and features ridiculous men in tight pants, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people. The Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and was followed by two successful West End runs.

Mercury Theater Chicago's production will be presented on the new Venus Cabaret Stage, accompanied by medieval treats of meats and ale.

The performance schedule for COMPANY and SPAMALOT is Wednesdays at 7:30pm, Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 2:30pm and 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm.
