Troy Brouwer’s Soggy Meatballs Set For The Fifty/50’s

Wicker Park upscale sports bar and comfort food restaurant The Fifty/50 (2047 W Division St) will donate $1 to the Chicago Blackhawk Charities during the Blackhawks playoff season for every "Troy Brouwer's Soggy Meatballs" sandwich purchased.

The "Troy Brouwer's Soggy Meatballs" is a sub sandwich on The Fifty/50's regular menu named after Blackhawks winger and Fifty/50 patron Troy Brouwer. The $8 sub is made of homemade Italian meatballs comprised of pork sausage and The Fifty/50's signature "Triple Secret" ground beef blend. The four meatball long sub is topped with marinara sauce, covered in shredded mozzarella cheese, and served on toasted Tuscan-style garlic bread.

This offer is not specific to game days. The Fifty/50 will donate every day for every "Troy Brouwer's Soggy Meatballs sold as long as the Blackhawks remain in the playoffs.

All of the Blackhawks playoff games will be screened at The Fifty/50, an official Blackhawks bar, on its 18 flatscreens with sound. Chicago's reigning Stanley Cup champions start their playoff run at 9 p.m. Wednesday against the Vancouver Canucks.
